On Tuesday, June 14, leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives pledged to reverse the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) union election rule, its 2015 Browning-Ferris decision, and its 2011 Specialty Healthcare decision. House Republicans outlined their policy proposals, faulting the Labor Department for providing “only a 60-day comment period” for its overtime rule and a 48-day comment period for a rule requiring federal contractors to provide their employees with paid sick leave.
