ATLANTA, July 29 – Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) Chairman Bharat “Bruce” Patel and Vice Chairman Bhavesh Patel served as panelists this week at the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators, and Developers (NABHOOD) Summit this week in Miami Beach.
The event, which included sessions on hospitality-related government affairs, industry diversity and hotel financing, brought together industry leaders from all over the United States for three days of networking and education.
Yesterday, both AAHOA officers addressed NABHOOD audiences as panelists. Chairman Patel spoke as a member of the “A View from the Top” executive roundtable, while Vice Chairman Patel joined the “Feasibility & Marketing Studies – Why are they so important?” panel.
“I thoroughly enjoyed serving on the executive panel,” said Chairman Patel. “It was a privilege to share some of my thoughts with the audience and, obviously, to hear from the other panel members.”
Chairman Patel also offered welcome remarks at the AAHOA town hall meeting held during the NABHOOD event on Wednesday night. Vice Chairman Patel shared the chairman’s enthusiasm. “It was an enlightening and very enjoyable experience,” he said. “Bruce and I are both grateful for [NABHOOD President] Andy Ingraham’s continued support of AAHOA and of hoteliers in general.”
