AmericInn Hotel and Suites Winona Set to Open in April 2017
WINONA, Minn. – AmericInn®—the largest midscale hotel brand in the upper Midwest—broke ground September 8 on the new AmericInn Hotel and Suites Winona. The groundbreaking included participants from AmericInn corporate leadership, Winona city dignitaries and local investors.

With a population of 27,500, Winona is the county seat of Winona County.
The new AmericInn Hotel and Suites Winona will open for guests in April 2017. The 70-room hotel will feature a pub serving drinks and light appetizers, refreshment bar, indoor swimming pool and hot tub, state-of-the-art exercise room, guest laundry, hotel-wide Internet access and the signature AmericInn hospitality service.
The hotel is owned by local investor Jerry Papenfuss and Northcott Hospitality (parent company of AmericInn). The project was developed by Apollo Development, is being built by Trueline Construction and will be managed by Three Rivers Hospitality.
