ATLANTA, January 23, 2017 – Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) President and CEO Chip Rogers will speak tomorrow at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) Law conference.
ALIS Law, the newest conference to be launched under the Burba Hotel Network umbrella, draws thousands every year for three days of high-level discussion on hotel investment. The conference deals exclusively with the nuts and bolts of closing deals, signing on the dotted line, and evaluating risks and potential returns within the hotel industry.
Scheduled sessions and panels address cybersecurity threats, technology, REIT governance, and other issues crucial for hotel owners, operators, and developers.
Rogers, who has served as the Georgia Senate Majority Leader, will take the stage as part of the “Update from D.C. – The Aftermath of This Historic 2016 Election and What it Means for Your Business” panel on January 24. He will be joined on the panel by Chris Nowak, Wyndham Hotel Group executive vice president and general counsel; Paul T. Snyder, IHG vice president, corporate responsibility; and Al Young, LaSalle Hotel Properties COO. American Hotel & Lodging Association SVP, Government Affairs Vanessa Sinders will moderate.
The panel will cover issues including labor, OTAs, short-term rental services, and implications of the shift in political majorities within governing bodies around the country.
ALIS Law will be held at the Residence Inn and Courtyard Los Angeles on January 23-24. For more information, please visit ALISconference.com/ALIS-law.
