WASHINGTON – Chip Rogers, president and CEO of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association, released the following statement on the Senate’s confirmation of Alexander Acosta as the secretary of labor:
“We applaud the Senate for confirming Alexander Acosta to be the next secretary of labor. There is a lot of work to be done on issues that are critically important to hotel owners—like the joint employer standard and overtime rule—and we look forward to working with the department to advance a pro-business agenda.”
