AAHOA Golf Tournaments Go Full Swing for Local Charities


ATLANTA, Aug. 21, 2017—The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) will host two
major charity golf tournaments near the end of the month.

The 14th Annual Northwest Region Charity Golf Tournament and Auction will be held in Aloha, Ore., on
Aug. 23 at the Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club. Money raised from the Northwest Region tournament
will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon, Autism Society of Oregon and Businesses
Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST).

The 2017 Charlotte Shootout, which will be held in Charlotte, NC, Aug. 26-27, will be held at the Golf
Club at Ballantyne. Money raised will be donated to the American Heart Association, USO of North
Carolina, Samaritans Feet, Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage, BAPS Charities, The Sandbox,
Isabella Santos Foundation, Hindu Center, and the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
These events offer AAHOA members an opportunity to network with peers while putting their time and
resources to good use in the community.
