following statement in response to Senate confirmation of John Ring to fill the fifth seat on the
National Labor Relations Board (NLRB):
“AAHOA members applaud the confirmation of John Ring to the NLRB. We are confident that
Mr. Ring will help restore the integrity and evenhandedness of the NLRB which, in recent years,
became decidedly activist and appallingly overreaching in its approach to resolving labor
disputes. He will do the job ethically and responsibly. The Senate’s confirmation is yet another
sign that common sense is being restored to our government institutions.”
