NEW YORK—While today’s leaders have seen top issues evolve, tomorrow’s leaders will have to deal with them front and center.
Hotel Business held a roundtable, sponsored by The Wall Street Journal, this week to discuss educating tomorrow’s hospitality leaders.
Several issues were discussed, including diversity and inclusion, labor issues, company culture, sustainability and technology.
The roundtable included veteran industry executives—such as Jagruti Panwala, chairwoman of AAHOA; Kathleen Flores, EVP of Trump Hotels; and Chip Rogers, president and CEO of AHLA—and up-and-comers—including Nishant (Neal) Patel, secretary of AAHOA; Emily Feeney, capital markets and investment manager, Noble Investment Group; and Kiersten Pearce, VP of member and engagement services, AHLA.
