Stay Safe
AAHOA joined the advisory council to develop Safe Stay, cleaning standards set to prepare hoteliers as economies slowly reopen and hotels begin to welcome back guests. As brands set their own cleaning standards, independent hoteliers may use this resource as a framework so all guests and employees are confident in where they stay and work. Stay Safe guidelines will be updated based on changes and recommendations by public health authorities in compliance with any federal, state, and local laws.

AAHOA represented America’s hotel owners as a contributing organization to Travel in the New Normal released by the travel industry. Travel in the New Normal sets health-focused guidance for the broader travel industry. This was created for travel businesses to keep their employees and customers safe and healthy. Travel in the New Normal details the vigorous measures the industry will follow to limit the risk of COVID-19.
