Call for entries open until March 9, 2017
Nominations are now being accepted for the third annual P&G Professional Community Hotelier of the Year Award presented in conjunction with AAHOA. The hotelier chosen as the winner of the award will have a $10,000 donation made in his/her name to the charity of his/her choice.* The winner will be announced at the AAHOA Annual Convention and Trade Show in April.
The award recognizes an AAHOA member who has demonstrated dedication and care for his/her community, and expresses a desire to make a positive impact in the future with a $10,000 donation to his/her charity of choice. The award is open to all AAHOA members – who may nominate themselves or other members in good standing. Online submissions will be accepted until March 9, 2017 and require an essay addressing:
- What it would mean to you to have this organization receive the funds?
- How have you (or the nominee) supported this organization in the past?
- Why is this charity important to you (or the nominee)?
- How will receiving this donation impact the charity and those it benefits, as well as your future support of it?
Last year’s award recognized Rashmi Bhakta for her work with Child Crisis Arizona. Bhakta was chosen as the grand prize winner after submitting an essay detailing her participation with and support of Child Crisis Arizona. The charity received a $10,000 award in Bhakta’s name.
